Introduction to gemstones:
While we are referring to gemstones,
we more than often imply minerals
that have been cut in a stylish form
and have been finished and polish to
provide it with an enhanced look.
Until the 18th century, India was
the lone identified foundation for
diamonds, which were basically mined
essentially from the excavation of
Golconda in Andhra Pradesh. India is
known to have extracted a few of the
world largest and most renowned
gemstones!
Origin of the mythology of
gemstones:
The prehistoric mythology beliefs,
with regards to crystals, minerals,
metals, semi-precious stones,
gemstones that prevailed in Greek,
Roman, Native American, and Egyptian
Mythology are numerous.
The belief in some of the
supernatural properties that were
possessed by gemstones goes way back
beyond ancient history. There is a
proper listing of stones that people
used to consider auspicious related
to love and hate for every day of
the year that an individual was
born. Such conceptions and ideas of
the ancients were basically woven
into the astrological creation of
the Babylonians, although the
ancient Greek lapidaries
particularly belief was that of
medicinal related!!!
However the prehistoric Christian
churches were extremely divergent
and condemned as far as engraved
talismans were concerned.
Nevertheless they did put up with
the use of medicinal amulets, and
developed a symbolism of its own
based on the gems of movement and
the upheaval. Since more than
centuries, the importance of
gemstones and minerals for
realistic, mythological, artistic,
and visual reasons has been immense.
Origin of different gemstones:

is now called Myanmar. Ruby

towards passion, enthusiasm, and
energy.
Emerald gemstone:
Emerald which is conferred to as a
gem of "eternal spring", used to be
quite prominent during the Mughal's
era. It was earlier traced during
Rig Veda and Mahabharata times.
Geologically, its most primitive
basis is thought to be the Aswan
mines of Egypt, which held
domination on the stone for more
than several decades! This control
over the emeralds was said to have
wrecked by the Spanish conquest
which us now known as Colombia.
Staring from the 16th century,
Colombian emeralds were on an
extensive scale being sold to
affluent Indians and the upper

The two untimely sources in the
Persian Gulf that extracted some of
